I’ve recently discovered a Taiwanese skincare brand called Formotopia BFFECT on Yesstyle. Luckily some products were in stock, so I could place an order without the risk of delay. I was impressed by the ingredient lists, the formulas and the low price tag too. I’ve been using the eye serum, the AHA exfoliator and the niacinamide serum for some months, they are fantastic and I have to mention that heir coustomer serive was happy to answer my questions within a few hours too!
Formotopia BFFECT Niacinamide 10% + Matrixyl 2% Serum
Niacinamide is one of my favourite ingredients! Vitamin B3 is a pretty gentle active ingredient, it doesn’t cause irritation but helps fading my dark spots and strengthen my skin barrier. I didn’t like the popular The Ordinary Niacinamide serum for many reasons but I enjoy this one a lot! It’s watery, absorbs quickly and I can apply anything else on top, including sunscreen and makeup. It contains some peptides: 2% Matrixyl™ 3000 to promote the reproduction of collagen, wound healing, and repairs aged, damaged skin and reduces fine lines. It’s alcohol, paraben and fragrance free!
Formotopia BFFECT Brio Peptide Eye Serum
Ever since I turned 30 (I’m 35) I’ve been interested in peptides. There are many of them, I make sure I use at least a few of them every day. The skin around the eye especially needs them but honestly this serum is just great for the whole face as well. It smells like jojoba oil in my opinion but it’s not oily, absorbs quickly and moisturizes the skin a bit. You can use it in the morning and at night too, it helps my skin looks healthier, younger, but you can apply an eye cream on top as well. I love it, I use it on my forehead and neck too to prevent wrinkles. Alcohol, paraben and fragrance free!
Formotopia BFFECT AHA 30% + Mandelic Acid 4% Serum
I use a Korean AHA peel (20%), it does wonders to my skin but I was ready for something stronger as well. I had a stupid question: is it 30% or 34% AHA? I wanted to be sure, so I contacted customer service. The answer came quickly: it is a 30% AHA peel. I find this one very gentle, I can barely feel the tingling sensation in this case! It surprised me, my 20% AHA peel causes discomfort for 1-2 minutes, but I can barely feel this one on my skin. Lovely! Mandelic acid is deffinitely a better option for people with sensitive skin (or use PHA if you have very sensitive skin). I use it once a week by the way, it is enough for me because I use ascorbic acid and Differin too every day. Alcohol, paraben and fragrance free!
I’m very happy with all of them, I can’t wait to try out more products from this brand!
