ALL DAY GLOW Calming Balance: Ampoule – Facial Toner – Day Cream

The Korean brand ALL DAY GLOW has released 4 skincare products (cleansing gel, toner, ampoule, cream) not too long ago. I’ve been using the toner, ampoule and cream for a while, 2 of them are wonderful! Here’s a short review!

All of these products belong to the Calming Balancing line which means that you can find many soothing, anti-inflammatory ingredients in them. They also help to maintain a healthy moisture and oil balance and stengthen the skin barrier. The products are recommended for dry skin but in my opinion they are even more suitable for normal and combination skin.

ALL DAY GLOW Calming Balance Facial Toner
The bottle is so simple yet gorgeous, it looks really pretty in real life, it makes me feel like I’m holding an expensive toner in my hand.. 🙂 It contains birch sap (95,000 ppm) and chamomile extract (750,000 ppm) to moisrutize and soothe the skin. Birch sap is especially great, rich in vitamins, minerals and the molecules are very small and they can reach and moisturize the deeper layers of the skin. Free of alcohol, paraben, fragrance and essential oils. It’s a light, watery liquid, absorbs fast and has a light, herbal scent to it, barely noticeable. It’s gentle, not sticky, not oily, the texture is exactly how it should be. The bottle is 200 ml. For normal, combination, dry, oily skin.

ALL DAY GLOW Calming Balance Day Cream
This light, moisturizing cream contains 6 kinds of hyaluronic Acids and 5 types of ceramides inclusive cholesterol and fatty acids to soothe, protect the skin and strengthening the skin barrier. Ceramides need to be combined with cholesterol and fatty acids in the right ratio and percentage to work. I’m glad that the brand pays attention to such important details. I can see 8 (!) peptides in it too, and it’s free of paraben, fragrance and ethanol according to the description but at the very end of the INCI you’ll find ‘Alcohol’, it’s a bit strange but anyways. The white cream smells like artemisia, which is not surprising, it’s one of the main ingredients. The cream absorbs quicky, it’s not sticky, not oily, leaves a healthy, barely visible glow, perfect! It’s great for anyone, especially normal and combination skin.

ALL DAY GLOW Calming Balance Ampoule
The ampoule is supposed to be the combination of essence and facial oil, providing moisture and the right amount of oil. It has ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids too in the right ratio (3 : 1 : 1). It is alcohol and paraben free but does contain essential oils, so it has a stronger but very natural scent to it. Honestly, it’s more like a lotion than an ampoule in my opinion. Ampoules usually contain high concentration of one or two ingredients, but I can’t say the same about this product. It is lightweight, moisturizing and has a nice, silky texture, not sticky, not oily but it’s not that special. And because of the essential oils I can’t even recommend it for sensitive skin. If you have to choose, pick the toner and the cream, those are very good! 🙂
