I’ve been using the MISSHA Time Revolution line for many-many years, the essences are my favourites! I love the MISSHA Time Revolution Artemisia Treatment Essence too, although it contains only one ingredient. And as you can see I couldn’t resist the MISSHA Time Revolution Artemisia Ampoule either…
The MISSHA Time Revolution Artemisia Ampoule (50 ml) contains 70% artemisia annua extract which has been double fermented (hot and cold). Good to know: artemisia is harvested from Ganghwa island which is known for great quality ginseng too! I love the MISSHA Artemisia Essence a bit too much so I decided to try out the ampoule too.
The essence is very watery but if you need something more moisturizing then the ampoule is a better choice. It is light, not sticky, absorbs fast, the ingredients make sure to control the moisture and oil balance of the skin and there’s Irish moss and sugar crane extact in it too! It is alcohol, paraben and fragrance free, great for all skin types, sensitive too!
I don’t see any difference between the essence and the ampoule when it comes to soothing the skin, but I believe I get better results when I use them together twice a day. My skin looks less red, I get less pimples and they disappear faster, it is a good addition to my routine. Artemisia is one of the most popular ingredients in Korea right now, I totally get the hype (I’m a big fan of herbs and fermentation): it’s gentle, effective and affordable at the same time. If I lived in Asia, I would definitely include it in my diet too (is it even available in Europe?). I’m happy I’ve found another calming ingredient that reduces inflammation and heals the skin naturally. The ampoule (and the whole product line too, of course) is highly recommended for sensitive, acne-prone, irritated skin!
