The TIAM Snail & Azulene Water Essence is more than just an essnece with snail mucin: the additional ingredients make it more special and effective than any other snail product I’ve ever tried. It soothes and heals the skin, the bottle is pretty big (180 ml) and it is very affordable!
Main ingredients?
Everyone knows about the benefits and the healing power of snail mucin (87%) but the essence contains azulene (chamomile extract) too which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. You’ll find fermented ingredients, moisturizers, vitamin B5, chamomile oil etc. in the essence too. It is free of alcohol, paraben and artificial fragrance.
Review:
It is a thick liquid, you don’t need cotton pads to apply it to the skin, I really like the texture, it feels silky. It is moisturizing, non sticky, and it has a barely noticeable scent to it. It does wonders to my skin: I love the calming, soothing and anti-inflammatory effect I’m seeing everytime I use it. It can skip the moisturizer too because I have oily/combination skin, so it is perfect for lazy days but you can layer it with other products too, of course. I use it in the morning and evening too, it is an important part of my skincare routine ever since I’ve received it.
Recommended for:
Anyone! It is such an underappreciated essence, but you’ll love it if you need a light, moisturizing, soothing, healing essence. Perfect for normal, oily, combination, acne prone or dry skin!
