I LOVE the new COSRX AC Collection Calming Liquid Mild, it is a gentle toner with soothing and healing centella asiatica, BHA and PHA to exfoliate the skin, keep the pores clean and prevent pimples.
You can find 3 different forms of centella asiatica in this toner: Asiaticoside, Asiatic acid and Madecassic acid make sure that the product has very good healing properties. There is a bit of BHA and PHA in it to exfoliate the outer layer of the skin and the pores too, but don’t expect serious exfoliation, this toner is very gentle and meant to be used daily. The INCI is short and great, it is free of alcohol, paraben, fragrance etc., all the ingredients are there to help and improve the acne prone skin.
I use it once or twice a day, I just apply it with my hands or a cotton pad. It contains tea tree oil which gives it a nice, natural scent. The liquid is just like water but more moisturizing, it absorbs fast, it’s not sticky nor irritating. If you have acne and a lot of pimples, this product won’t be enough, you deffinitely need something more serious but I it fits perfectly into my routine. This toner makes everything else work better on my skin, it is a great addition to my favourite products and if I use it twice a day my pores look smaller and cleaner too. COSRX decided to put many of my beloved and trusted ingredients into one product and I really appreciate it. In my opinion it is one of the best toners for acne prone skin!
Do you have pimples and do you feel like your skin care routine could be better? Then give this one a chance! Anyone with acne prone skin will like this toner, but you don’t need it if you are sensitive to tea tree oil (I mean it love this ingredient, it works wonders but it is an essential oil after all).
