The Korean PURITO has just launched two new products: the gentle yet effective Defence Barrier PH Cleanser and the lightweight but moisturizing Deep Sea Pure Water Cream. If you are interested in my review and some swatches than continue reading this post! 🙂
First of all, I’ve tried almost every single Purito products so far but it’s always exciting to see some new ones, especially if they are just as good and gentle as these ones! As far as I know, brand new Purito products will hit the market soon, so be prepared, but right now we have the PURITO Defence Barrier PH Cleanser and the PURITO Deep Sea Pure Water Cream and I must say: both of them look promising at first sight!
There are many things I appreciate about the PURITO Defence Barrier PH Cleanser! This gel cleanser lathers into a gentle foam, it’s good at removing dirt and makeup residue and most importantly it’s not drying or irritating at all! It helps maintain a healthy skin barrier thanks to its low pH level (5.5), it’s refreshing and luckily a little goes a long way. The ingredient list is short and simple, the product contains no alcohol, perfume or parabens but there are many skin friendly ingredients present such as centella asiatica extract (healing properties), tea leaf oil (antibacterial) or royal jelly and grapefruit extract full of vitamins etc. To be honest, this Purito cleanser reminds me of the Cosrx Good Morning cleanser but this one has a lighter scent and the gel is a bit thicker and lathers more foam if I remember correctly (it’s been a while since I used the Cosrx one). One thing is for sure: the Purito Defence Barrier Cleanser is a very good, effective and gentle facial cleanser which is great for all skin types, men will appreciate too! 🙂 It’s definitely the type of product I need in my routine and it’s worth repurchasing for sure!
The PURITO Deep Sea Pure Water Cream might look simple at first but actually it’s a very good moisturizer! Once again, the ingredient list is promising, it’s alcohol, perfume, artificial colorants and paraben free etc. although it does have a nice, fresh scent thanks to some bergamot oil. The formula contains many moisturizers, emollients, some vitamins and anti-inflammatories, it absorbs quicky, it is suitable for most skin types and some whitening effect can be achieved by vitamin B3 (2%). You won’t be needing anything else if you have normal, combination or oily skin, but of course you could use other products simultaneously, layering won’t be a problem. Overall, it’s one of the best Korean facial creams especially if you are on a budget but you need something lightweight, gentle and effective.
These new Purito products are great and I can’t wait to see what else this brand plans to launch in the future!
