REVIEW Purito Pure Vitamin C & Snail Repair Advanced 91 Serum

I was happy to hear that the Korean brand Purito was releasing some serums because I used to enjoy their bb cream and snail face wash too and I’m always interested in budget friendly products. Actually I was looking for a new vitamin C serum because I had been traveling a lot so buying a product with Ascorbic Acid would have been useless (you have to finish a bottle in about 3 months and keep it in the fridge far from sun light) but my skin was really missing this ingredient. So after my trip to England I started using the Purito Pure Vitamin C Serum frequently and soon after the Purito Snail Repair Advanced 91 Serum too. Actually there is a third option on the market, the Purito Pure Hyaluronic Acid 90 Serum, in case you are searching for something with this lovely moisturizer.

These dark, plastic bottles are huge (60 ml each) comparing to similar products but they cost only $15 (free shipping)! I was most excited about the vitamin C serum because I am a bit biased when it comes to this ingredient. As soon as I started using it I realized how good it was! I have to be honest, I did not have high expectation because I learnt the hard way that a well formulated ascorbic acid serum usually costs more than $30 (for 30 ml) but Purito proved me wrong! How to use it? Well, as always I prep my skin with a low pH toner, I wait a bit and then apply the Vitamin C serum and let it do its wonders for about 20-30 min. It’s not sticky, non-irritating, absorbs fast, a little goes a long way so I don’t mind using it on my neck, hands etc. as well.  Thanks to the 10 free system it is alcohol, paraben, artificial fragrance, artificial colorings, surfactants etc. free. And it does its job like any other/more expensive serum! Just an example: a couple of days ago I removed my makeup and realized that there was a huge, red spot on my nose. I have no idea what it was but usually it takes me same days to make something like this disappear but all I needed was this vitamin C serum and my skin cleared up overnight. It’s effective, cheap and not irritating, contains collagen, red ginseng (!), B3 vitamin, Sodium Hyaluronate etc., what else could I ask for?
Despite the 10 free system the Purito Snail Repair Advanced 91 Serum contains essentials oils which could be irritating for people with very sensitive skin but I’m not one of them so I don’t mind using it. The serum contains some great ingredients as well and it feels great on the skin thanks to the light texture and fast absorbing, nourishing properties. I prefer using it on my neck and décolleté because I don’t have a separate serum for those parts and these bottles are big and cheap enough to make my face less greedy about these products 😀 I don’t think the snail repair serum is a must have, because there are so many great ones already on the market but the vitamin c one could be a life saver for those who use this ingredient very often and want a less expensive alternative.
