I was very excited to try out the new COSRX Holy Moly Snail Masks because I love this innovative brand and their products, Cosrx never disappoints me and I’m a pretty big sheet mask fanatic as well.  I ordered these masks without checking out the ingredients and I can barely believe it but yes, that’s how much I trust COSRX 🙂 The Holy Moly Snail Masks are inexpensive and the INCI looks great: it’s alcohol, perfume and paraben free. Let me start by saying how happy I am that instead of water I can see ginseng (Rend Ginseng Water) as the main ingredient! I do want to use more ginseng in my routine because it’s such a promising and impressive ingredient but I need it in higher concentration in my life 🙂 Of course snail secretion filtrate is present in the INCI hence the name. I’m always ready to try out more skin related products because my skin seems to enjoy it a lot. I can see improvements: my acne and spots heal faster, my skin feels moisturized and younger, tighter and this mask delivers the same effects. The following moisturizers (Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate) are also well known and loved by my skin, I really like having them in my skin care products because I prefer lightweight moisturizers as my skin tends to be oily if I use something heavier. I starts to think that COSRX can read my mind because they picked all my favourite ingredients to make this sheet mask but yes, I do love the anti-inflammatory properties of Allatoin too. I can appreciate the smallest calming effect delivered by anti-inflammatories but this time I was surprised to see what a great difference this mask made in 30 minutes. I experienced no irritation at all, all I saw was that the redness was gone, my acne spots looked much smaller, my skin looked calm and felt moisturized. The essence itself is lightweight and very gentle to the skin, it does leaves a bit of a glow on my combination skin but it absorbs pretty fast. I can recommend it for any skin type and I mean it. I think I have just found my new favourite sheet mask <3  What about the size? Well it fits my face but in my opinion it should be a tiny bit bigger but oh well, that’s the only thing I would change if I had the chance but everything else is perfect about these sheet masks!
