REVIEW Etude House Dear Girls Oil Control Pact

Once you try a translucent powder, you can’t go back. Etude House Dear Girls Oil Control Pact is my BFF lately and today I’m going to tell you why everyone needs this product (or something similar) in their bags. Translucent powders are easy to find if you like Korean brands, usually these products cost only a few bucks, but they could be your life savers, especially if you have oily skin. I use mine in the morning to set my makeup: a thin layer is more than enough which makes contouring and applying blusher easier and faster, but in the meantime, you make sure that your makeup will be as long lasting as possible with such an easy and quick step. Good news for people with large pores: the powder makes pores (and wrinkles) less visible and helps you achieve that flawless skin look easier. During the day I re-apply the powder to my T-tone, that’s where my skin tends to be oily. It takes a sec and then I’m good to go. These compacts usually come with a mirror and a sponge, so you can keep one in your bag: you never know when your makeup needs to be retouched. This particular one costs about $10, has the cutest packaging and actually I’m pretty surprised by the ingredients, it looks better than I expected: I can see many useful plant extracts and it’s alcohol free as well. Thanks to this, the powder is non-drying, that’s also the reason why it doesn’t last all day if you have very oily skin but hey: it takes a few seconds to re-apply it, so I’m fan of the skin-friendly, alcohol-free formula. It’s cute, it’s good and it’s cheap, what else do I need? 🙂
